Dumont Retail, Office Property Trades For $5.9 Million

A private investor has paid nearly $6 million to acquire a retail and office property in Bergen County, according to a brokerage team with Marcus & Millichap.
Known as President’s Square, the 17,441-square foot property is located at 125 Washington Ave. in Dumont. Investment specialists Alan Cafiero and Kevin Taub represented the seller, an undisclosed LLC, in the $5.85 million deal by Marcus’ New Jersey office.
“The property is a mixed-use retail (and) office complex at the signalized corner of Washington Avenue and Madison Avenue,” Cafiero said. “Hard corner intersection properties are difficult to find in Bergen County and command premium pricing.”
